MFV-01 Magnesium Wheels

Monoblock magnesium wheel built with F1 lightweight technology. It is designed for track use and achieves low weight (front wheels around 16.3lbs / 7.4kg and rear wheels about 21lbs / 9.5kg) without compromising strength. Forged magnesium offers about 30% less weight and roughly 12 % higher specific strength than aluminium, high damping capacity and is recyclable. Innovative features decrease unsprung mass, improve shock absorption, enhance thermal conductivity and fuel efficiency, while manufacturing uses large forging presses, flow forming, heat treatment, CNC turning and milling, polishing, grinding and micro arc oxidation. Certified strength is ensured through radial, rotary and impact fatigue tests.
