MFV-03 Magnesium Wheels

This wheel uses F1 lightweight technology for track use. It combines light weight with high strength – front wheels weigh around 16.3lbs (7.4kg) and rear wheels about 21lbs (9.5kg) while maintaining safety. Forged magnesium provides about 30% weight reduction and about 12 % higher specific strength compared with forged aluminium and offers high damping capacity; the material is eco friendly and recyclable. Innovations such as unsprung mass reduction, shock absorption and high thermal conductivity improve handling, braking and fuel efficiency, and the world leading manufacturing process involves massive forging presses, flow forming, heat treatment and precision CNC machining. The wheels are tested for radial, rotary and impact fatigue to ensure certified strength.
