Turbochargers are known for absorbing quite a bit of the engine™s sound volume. With this in engineer™s minds, the computer-designed Slip-On exhaust system with optimal exhaust gas flow has been created. The result is the deep Akrapovic sound of the Slip-On system. The sound is made louder by removing the point-welded block in the link pipe that prevents bypassing the uniquely designed muffler. Please note: when the bypass is unblocked, the EC type-approval is not valid. To control the sound level, Akrapovic offers an optional wireless kit. The Akrapovic sound of the Cayenne Turbo™s engine is drone free and satisfies the ears with a muscly note that goes along with the unique muscle design of titanium or carbon fiber tail pipes. Both handcrafted sets are bigger in diameter than stock (105 mm). In addition to making the 958.2 Cayenne more attractive, fitting an Akrapovic Slip-On system on this SUV also has the advantage of keeping the weight down. The Slip-On system, made from proprietary high-strength and lightweight titanium, delivers more power, improves responsiveness, and adds more torque. Altogether the Slip-On offers a complete package of unique image, deep aggressive sound, power gain, and weight loss. If the stock system does not have integrated exhaust valves then select the optional Akrapovic sound kit for adjustable sound. If the car is equipped with performance exhaust with electronic valve actuators than actuator set P-HF1006 is required and the Akrapovic sound kit P-HF1003 can not be used. If the car is not equipped with performance exhaust and you want to use the Akrapovic sound kit than Akrapovic sound kit P-HF1003 together with Actuator set P-HF1006 has to be ordered./p>
